here's why I can help with that.
I'm a former IT product manager, a job that was sedentary and involved overseas travel. I struggled with the tension between that, managing a family and a desire to maintain a healthy weight. My energy levels were at an all-time low, naps during the day were frequent, stress & anxiety were at an all-time high, bloating and digestive issues were a daily thing, sleep was erratic and elusive and I felt like I was a slave to my hormones.
I was very active and did lots of endurance sport - long distance swimming, running and cycling and did several half ironman races. And yet, I still couldn't get the results I was looking for. And to make matters worse, I kept getting injured, which resulted in periods of inactivity and weight gain. So I spent years researching the science around nutrition, exercise, mindset and sleep, all in my spare time. And eventually, I decided to formally study nutriton, and later expanded that to certify as a health coach with the College of Naturopathic Medicine (CNM) and as a personal trainer with American Council on Exercise (ACE).
I eventually found the most efficient path to my best health - and it was much simpler than I thought! It consisted of tracking my macros and eating food to fuel my body rather than fight it as well as low intensity cardio (e.g. walking) and most importantly - strength training! Having found my own path to my best health, I finally decided to leave the corporate life and dedicate myself to helping other women discover how simple it is to feel their best - don't we all deserve that?
I believe that you deserve to feel energised and alive every day, and that you can achieve your optimal weight at any age, without living miserably and depriving yourself of the things that bring you joy. I don't think that anyone should have to do the level of research that I had to do, so I translate the complex science into simple practical health tips, I called it the Fit Positive method and of course, with my technology background, I bring it to you in the form of the Fit Positive app, available globally!

Note: It's important when selecting a PT/health coach that you check their credentials - I qualified with the College of Naturopathic Medicine (two-time consecutive winner of Best College in the prestigious IHCAN Education Awards) and my qualification is approved by both the UK Health Coaches Association and the NHS Personalised Care Institute. I am also a certified CrossFit Level 1 Trainer and a personal trainer certified with American Council on Exercise (ACE) - the most globally recognised personal training certificate there is and NCCA certified.
